The 2016 challenge takes place on Sunday June 5th
Once a year, in June, a mass participation Shropshire Three Peaks Ultramarathon ultra will take place. Limited to 100 participants, you will be taken by coach from Ludlow to the start line in Hope, where it’s a full on race back to Ludlow! We have kept the price as low as possible, but no corners have been cut! For the low cost of £26 you will get chip timing, coach travel, food and drink and checkpoints and a fine finishers medal, as well as paramedic support, plus an experienced race directing team looking after you!
You will register with us at the HQ in Ludlow from 6am, and then board a coach at 7am which takes you to the start line in the village of Hope, Shropshire. You can also opt to make your own transport arrangements and meet us at the start line. The race starts at 8am in Hope. You then begin your Shropshire Three Peaks Challenge. There are three manned checkpoints with refreshments
- Carding Mill Valley (10.5 miles)
- Wilderhope Manor (20 miles)
- Bromdon (30 miles)
The route follows major footpaths; most of the route follows either The Shropshire Way or The Jack Mytton Way. We will provide a description of the route highlighting tricky areas, and you should bring your own maps for backup. If you are ready to enter, click here!
