Shropshire is flat right?
That is only half true! North Shropshire is flat. South Shropshire certainly isn’t. Shropshire has some impressive hills, fierce climbs, that really let you know what your lungs are for.
Joining the National, and Yorkshire three peaks challenges, Shropshire now has it’s own, far tougher challenge. The Shropshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 41 mile linear route, that takes in the three highest hills in the county, and in Shropshire’s Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty, for over 2000m of ascent!
- Stiperstones: Manstone Rock (536m)
- Brown Clee (540m)
- Titterstone Clee (533m)
The Shropshire three Peaks challenge begins at the village of Hope near the Stiperstones, and ends in the shadow of Ludlow Castle!
